It doesn’t matter if you graduated five years ago or twenty five years ago, finding your old school alumni friends is always fun and exciting.  Of course, if you graduate only five years ago, you will probably have any easier time tracking down your alumni friends than someone who has been out of school for over two decades.  Still, anyone can find their high school or college alumni friends.  Most schools like to keep track of their alumni.  Private schools in particular like to keep track of their alumni and their contact info so they can track them down for money during fundraising efforts.

If you want to get back in touch with your alumni friends, first try contacting your alma mater to see if they have an alumni director set up that you can access.  In recent years a lot of schools have put their alumni directory databases on the internet.  All you have to do is log on and search for your former alumni and friends.  Some schools also have quarterly or annual alumni magazines that list updates about alumni happenings.  Contact your school to see if you can get on the mailing list of the magazine.  You can always turn to the internet to try and find your alumni friends.  Having a yearbook with you might help refresh your memory for full names.
